Default Vintage Racing a Kirkham

I know the Kirkham family has successfully raced some of their cars in Some Vintage Racing arenas. Which sanctioning bodies, and does anyone know of others who are racing them, and also which sanctioning bodies. My main interest would be HSRA due to my location, but I would like the option to attend other events. Also, what safety upgrades have been done to the cars? All input welcome here.

Sorry, but I don't have any info on the racing stuff. I do know that a double wide rollbar can be ordered.

I also know that twin rollbars can be ordered (for 427's), because we make right hand drive cars too, though it would probably be a fairly expensive retrofit if the car is already finished.

I notice that the blurb under your picture says you're waiting for a driveshaft from us. Is that the case? If so, could you send the length from tailshaft spline to the center of the cross bearing yoke on the diff?

Thanks.

Steve, yes that is correct on the driveshaft. Hoping to have motor and tranny in before weekend is out so I can measure for you. It's taken a little longer than anticipated due to some compression ratio fine tuning we did on the motor (basically had to grab a new set of heads and re machine and port/polish).

If I were to build a racer, it would be a 289.
