Can't get spinners off

Hi,

I'm having a really hard time getting my spinners off. I use the recommended silver anti-seize. I made a hammer like the Kirkhams use at their shop made out of a BIG piece of nylon rod. I've even tried using a small hand held sledge to hit the nylon hammer like I saw Tom do when I had my car in Provo once. Still no luck.

What kind of hammers are others using? Lead? How heavy?

Is there a trick with the angle?

Do people regularly pull their spinners off on a regular basis so they don't get so tight?
