Upcomming Vegas Cobras Events

Here's what's planned for the next couple of "Regular, 3rd Saturday" club meetings:

March 15th: We'll meet with the Ferrari and Lotus clubs at the Hooters @ Sunset Station at 1:00pm. Activities before 1:00 are to be determined. If anyone has any recommendations, let me know.

April 19th: Dyno day at the Speedway along with Time w/Tom of Tom's Motorsports. We'll meet at 8:00 am at the Iron Skillet at the Speedway then take turns at NRP's dyno. When not on the dyno, Tom will have his shop open for a tour along with films and shop talk. For those that don't know, Tom is the area "expert" on Cobras and runs a couple of Shelby Cobra Spec Racers.

Other upcoming events

March 1-2 Track days with the SCCA/Porsche Club at Spring Mtn. Ranch in Pahrump. Several of us are running and others will be coming out after breakfast to watch and lend support.

April 4-6 An event with the AZ Cobras is in the works. We'll post more info here as this develops.

Hello Doug what time to they open the gates at the track? Do you know the schedule for the runs?

Gates usually open around 7:00 - 7:30. Drivers meetinging 8 - 8:30; Advanced first out on the track at 9. This is from past expereince. They usually do not give out schedules in advance.
