Mike,
I too, enjoyed meeting you. Thank you for the compliments on my car, coming from you guys it really means a lot. I tried to put you together with a gentleman from Texas that is in the market but I couldn't find you at the dinner saturday night. Hopefully he found you or will contact you soon. I plan on being there again next year, I'll look for you.

35...... you would loose your license, vehicle would be impounded. They would probably hit you with no less then drag racing, reckless operation, and of course speeding. The speeding alone would be at least six points on your license. Then of course, they would make sure your insurance company knew! Jail time would not be out of the question

and the pen is just up the road a couple of miles!!
They keep it safe, they keep it fun.
They flag us on, for every run.
With radar trap, they know who "won".
No sirens wail, they pull no gun.
Many big smiles from everyone,
Cobras give thanks - cops of London!!

London Cobra Show
To all that put in the hard work and effort to pull off a great event I commend you......
This was my first London show of hopefully many more to come. What a display of RAW horsepower and Beauty. I went there to gather information on as many cobras as I could on my likes and dislikes of each kit and to talk to some of the owners. I have to say you guys and gals are a very hospitapal group. And thank you to all that helpped me with sensory overload. There were many many fine examples to get a good understanding of the differences of each manufacture. I think it set me back a few months to wade through all the information. Short of robbing a bank I'll have to wait till finaces permit. Until then I'll remain a spectator.
I did see something of interest though it was a canvas cover for open car trailers. Anyone know where one would begin a search on locating such an item or the company that made them? Sorry I have not done a search on this site yet to see if it was mentioned before. If so I appologize in advance
Already looking forward to next year..........

Help me, please...need loaned part back!
Wednesday morning, June 21, 2006, in response to a fellow Cobra owner's plea, I loaned out a spare battery cut off key so he could get in some track time at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Track. Seems he had lost his battery cut off key somewhere overnight...who knows where? Naturally, having been in similar situations, I was only too glad to be able to offer my spare up. Problem is...I failed to get his name, email, etc., and I'd like my spare key back. As best I remember, he was from Colorado...can't even remember which car was his.
Anyway...if anyone remembers, or this is YOU...drop me a line, respond to this thread...or hell, call me at 901-485-0098 so we can make arrangements to have my spare key returned.
THANKS for any help offered !!!
Just so I can cover more ground, I'll post this over on the ALL COBRA threads, too.

Did you get it Freddie? You might check on www.londoncobrashow.com under the Mid-Ohio event list for a list of those who attended. I also have a list with contact information that I will send you.

Nope...
No, Rick...not a peep from anyone regarding the loaned battery cut off key. I got a lot of info/suggestions on where to get another key, but I haven't had a chance to act on any of it...just been too busy!
But, gee...you'd think the guy would at least see one of the posts I made regarding this and respond to one of 'em, wouldn't you?
Gee...I might be inclined to not be so accomodating next time.
"Oh, lost your battery key...? Gee, tough luck, huh? Bet you'll bring a spare next time, won't ya...? See ya on the sidelines..."

Did you post on SCOF and FFCobra? That list I sent you has all the contact information for everyone that came to Mid-Ohio. Of course, it should not be up to you to track them down!

Naw...I don't post much on SCOF anymore...personal reasons... And I'm not a FFCobra member...'spose I could sign up though. Yeah, that's just what I need - becoming a member of yet ANOTHER car or motorcycle site...!
Awww...hell...it'll turn up...if not, no great loss.... I'll pick one up. It's not like I gotta have one. I seldom remove mine from the switch mounted in the trunk, and if I do it's still got a big red "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" flag on it...primarily so I won't lose it...!

T-Shirt
I have had a lot of good comments about my LCS 06 t-shirts. Great graphic!! My wife commended on nice the shirts were this year and she said they were better that all the car club, hot rod shirt I have. SO, a big thanks to the person or persons who drew the graphic for the T-shirt this year.

We just met last Tuesday to go over the final numbers but there where questions. They are good I can tell you that! Aside from the $14,000 for the bike it looks like, don't hold me to this, we will have over $30,000 for CF plus some money for other contributing charity plus some money in the bank to kick off next year! Gross was over 90K if I recall correctly. I would expect to see the final numbers posted by the end of next week... hopefully!

Bob Brandl did the shirts this year. Aside from the OCC logo which I came up with, he worked closely with one of our guys to come up with the shirts. I am glad you liked them! I see no reason why Bob won't do them again next year.
