Default 7-Day Build in Progress

Well, as of 10am yesterday morning (July 10, 2010) the LS 7-Day Build Team has begun building one of its LS427s w/customer John from Illinois, his 10 year old son Jonathan, & cousin Greg. We thought on this build we would keep everyone updated daily on its progress w/pics.

1st, a summary of John's new baby
LS427 Specs:

LS427 Complete Kit (all steel powder coated)
351W 550 hp stroker
Tremec TKO 600 5-peed transmission
Currie 9" Ford Rear End 3:70 gears
4-wheel 12.7" Wilwood drilled/slotted 4-piston brakes
Chrome tilt steering column
2-individual black powder coated roll bars
Black vinyl wrapped dash
Black race jack bumpers
Ceramic coated exhaust
& American Racing 17" Shelby 427 wheels 17X8 fronts & 17X11 rear

Day 1
Installed:
rack & pinion
front upper & lower control arms
coil over shocks (all 4)
brakes & spindles
fuel tank
4-link & panhard bar
rear end & suspension
emergency brake cable
brake & fuel lines
rear bump stops
Engine/transmission
headers
body-to-frame isolating foam
complete body
& body drop floor pans (glassed in from top side)
