				 Columbus Center Thanks
I would like to thank everyone who made the trip into the city, It was our biggest turn out to date. I believe the final count was 45 cobra's and 1 Ford GT.We could not have asked for a nicer day, I want to thank Mekos from Stock n Custom Magazine for Covering our run. I would also like to thank all the guys from HRE who made the trip and joined the club today. We had folks from Jersey and Connecticut who made the trip also.
Being the lead person both into and out of the city I tend to miss a lot of the going on's!!! I understand that New York's Finest Pulled a few of you over (15-20) from what I hear!!!! No tickets were issued so I guess all things being equal that's not bad...
We headed out to Tobay for lunch with free passes to the boat show, it was a perfect way to end a great run. When I get the pictures Back from Mekos I will post them on the web sit. So once again thank you to everyone for making this a fantastic day. I hope to see and hear from you all real soon.
 Sincerely,
 Bobby

Bobby, it was a blast. Huge turnout considering threat of rain. As far as getting stopped by NYPD, that was pretty funny. Marty did it!

Bobby, thanks for setting this up again, had a blast as usual. Here's some short video clips from the trip, I have lots of video but am not so good at editing it, will post more if I can figure it out:
The start, 6 am at McDonalds and the pot hole that almost ate Manhattan:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...24647711822793
Short clip of the tunnel. I was way at the back this year and missed most of the fun. I was following James, whose mass air meter crapped out just as we got on the LIE:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...62688688925461
We arrive at Columbus Circle only to find that it's full of Cobras, no room left. You can see James getting pushed as his car has now died completely. He made it home though (eventually).

A short clip of us leaving, I start at the back again. I have lots more video, including when we are blocked by the NYPD. You guys in front must have really overdid it this year! By the time we got to Times Square, they were not amused:

If I can figure out how to edit, I will post more.

Thanks again Bobby. Take care.

Tom

Nice vids, almost felt like I was there, except for the lack of fumes with all that HP idling together in such close proximity.
Love to see you putting some of them horses to work!!

				 A fitting Columbus Weekend run
Thanks Bobby, for putting together a most enjoyable run. I just hope the Columbus Cobra Club doesn't get a bad rap with the NYPD after they dispatched the "road block".
Fantastic turnout and good eats at the beach too!
Ray
