Man-made global warming, the notion that mankind is changing the world's climate in a dangerous way, never had much grounding in science. It has now departed from proper science altogether and become a millennial religion of rich people in rich countries.

Then fill up your car and take it for a spin.
Here's a couple of rebuttal inks from the same South African news outfit. Although they probably aren't worth reading to those secure in their knowledge:
Climate change sceptics quieter but still out there - another view
Clean energy is desirable even if climate change is natural

It's easy to see how Kenny chooses his position since he works, or has worked¹, for coal and nuclear interests. One might expect a worried woodcutter to promote burning wood to the villagers. It's harder to see the vague causal financial motivation behind, "rich people in rich countries".

Nothing will change too quickly. I think early adaption to alternate sources will, at most, cut into windfall carbon profits at the end. Sometimes it's hard for a woodcutter to face that the last few logs will sell at the same price or less, as the first few. Kind of ugly from an investor standpoint.
