Default Cool Pen for you techies

This is one of the coolest products I have seen in a while.
http://www.livescribe.com/

It records your notes electronically and has a microphone to also capture your meeting or professor as an mp3 file. It can then read your notes back to you as it highlights the text on your computer.

It is amazing great for meetings and for college kids or education in general.

FYI- I have no affiliation with this product at all. I just had the pleasure of testing one a week ago and it was amazing.

Jams,

That is quite a pen. But as bad as my nerves are and as much as I shake, I doubt if even it could make my writing legible.

Ron,

I should be a doctor with my handwriting. It simply captures exactly what you put down on paper. You have to use special paper in conjunction with the pen. The paper has tiny dots on it. I think the dots help it capture the image of your handwriting. What you write is what is captured. No better no worse.

The captured image on the computer looks exactly like what is written on the special notebook paper. If you can't read your own handwriting (like myself at times) then you have the audio to go along with it.

Jams,

My handwriting is so bad that the girls at the bank once told me that if they ever saw a check of mine that they could read they would know it was written by someone else. Even my doctors prescriptions are easier to read than my writing. I looked at the special paper and if you have a color laser printer and that desktop, you can print your own paper. I am guessing it will print on regular laser quality printer paper.

I have one at work. It works awesome. When I started my company, I wrote most quotes/notes on a pad of paper, well the inevitable would happen. I would quote somebody a price or write down a phone number and loose it. So got one of these. So far it reads my handwriting great, and I haven't lost a note. You can cross reference anything that you have written and it'll bring it up along with time and date. Awesome product.

Eric
