So Sam Raimi stands up and tells Sony that he can't make Spiderman 4 properly and meet the release date - he wants more time, especially on the script, to avoid a rehash of Spidey 3's problems.
Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and the other continuing actors all stood up behind him.
Sony fired them all. Spiderman 4 will be a new cast, new director reboot with Peter back in high school.
Just something to think about next time you think you're essential to your boss.
