Ah, finally some light on the subject, it's a MINIMUM tax up from $10 to $140.
Gross reciepts: Hawaii called it an "excise tax", 4.7%. Regardless of profit or loss you paid that minimum tax. It's a real killer for a new business trying to come up to speed, in the first year or two especially. I ALWAYS passed it onto consumers when I had the chance. |
