Thanks Maurice. Had not seen his posts and tracking his progress was showing no updates. Was getting a bit concerned.

Good day gentlemen,
I am in the SF Bay Area. I have seen the white coats once already, and will see them again this coming week. Things are not as bad as they could be, but could be a wee bit better. The good news is that I should be back on Imagine right after the new year in Panama. I will have to prep the boat a bit, and then this time the wind is on my quarter with a straight shot for Hawaii.
The last time I had to sail south halfway to the Galapagos before turning for Hawaii. Going south is a battle where going north west is a sleigh ride. They say the third time is a charm. I am taking a rabbits foot with me this next time.. ..... .i2f

Real good to hear from you. We were kinda left hanging as to your well being.
Are the 'white coats' fitting you with a white coat that has those extra long sleeves yet ??
Good to know that you are taking care of your heatlh issues John.
A nice downhill run is what you deserve.3rd time will do it.

Thanks for the update Maurice. Been wondering how he was doing.
Is that tracking program still working?

Seems I have stirred some curiosity, and have not been forgotten...lololol... Yes I am back on the boat with a more than ever determined attitude. I fired the white coats. I had 3 doctors, and they all had different opinions of my future. I decided not to be a science project, and live my life with joy, and not wither away at UCSF until my last breath.
We can still followed at SPOT TRACKER, and I have started writing a blog, SAILING with CANCER, One man's race against time! The blog is having a wee bit of a technical problem, but we are working that out. If not we will just post on SPOT.
I decided to go forward with being public to make people understand you can buy almost anything, but time. If you have a dream to live it no matter what the hobby, or goal is. Our health like mine can be gone in a day, or second.
The doctors knocked me down 60 lbs in weeks, and nearly killed me. I have put at least 20lbs back on, and I am carrying water jugs, batteries, and what ever else it takes. I am low on stamina, and about half my strength, but I am pushing forward. My sailing mentor is coming aboard for the sail to Hawaii. We will see if I keep adding strength? If so Mel & I will continue on alone.
I have had some folks from here drop me a line with well wishes. All notes help me walk straighter, taller, and stronger, and I would like to say thanks. This includes the posts here too. I'll type with you all in a couple of days......i2f

Happy sails John. May you and your beautiful lil' berry of a wife have one great adventure after another.
