I have been using Stabil for many years but only for storage. StarTron was introduced to me last year by a fellow enthusiast and I am very pleased with it. After trying it last fall and seeing the results this past spring, I even use Startron now even on my daily drivers...all year. It made a huge difference in smoothness, power, and overall performance on the V8s: the big block 460 on the Cobra and the small block 302 on the GT40. In fact, I gotta go get some more now. 
I have (5) 8-qt. bottles of Stabil. I'll probably use them for the lawn mowers, snow blower, and weed whacker motors...
