well, you see, it's son #2 I have to worry about.....
there is an original 'sort of' gulf colored gt40 on ebay... somebody else has posted about it on CC. I believe it's a continuation gt40??? I have a vintage slot car of a 40 in the gulf colors.....

Erich got the first goal of the game today...YAHOO!!!
They won 3 to 1 over Redford.
It was 53 degrees on the way to the game. Regular heat wave here.  Suppose to get three to six inches of snow on Tuesday. Go figure.
Well, I may have to do something with the cobra, not sure what, but something.

great news, Tru! #2 son had basketball tourney Friday. They lost to the this team during the reg. season, and ultimately that team won the championship.... guess it isn't soo bad to lose to the champions! They selected all-stars last night, and unfortunately he wasn't selected.  He is really bummed. He was a 'shoe-in' by all accounts; guess not..... On to baseball for him.... #1, continues with indoor soccer.....
When does the season end? Sometimes it seems like we never end.... especially baseball.
Getting geared up for Florida. Tinkerbell, here we come!!!
What's the weather like, Earl? Bike week driving you crazy? I am pretty glad we won't be there at that time... I hope they are driving out of town as we drive in!!

Weather has been beeeeeeautiful the last two days, sun shining and warm...supposed to rain mid week and then get good again...they aren't too bad...lot better than the race fans or spring breakers.................................
I took the first half of the day off and took the wife to brunch for her birth day, something I don't get to do too often. Had a fairly good day.
CG are you gonna try and make a jaunt over to DB when you get to Florida??
Ron, stay out of that yard, the aliens might try and take ya away!!
Tru, hope the weather holds out for ya.

After observing the majority of kids we have around here I am definitely an alien. I can count, spell, and go to the bathroom with a computer controlled stool.

Sports is now a year around thing. When one takes it's two wek break, another is starting. Get used to it. Maybe a trailer for Pepe to haul the gear in and that way you can get in some driving while gong to the various sports events.

That was great you taking the half day off and taking your wife out for her birthday. I am sure that meant a lot more to her than Happy Birthday, I will see you this afternoon. Good for you.

Great news the boys won. Weather doesn't sound so great if it comes to pass. Better take the Cobra for a drive now whileit is still hot there.

Yep,my son's favorite is the GT-40 for sure.Josh feels the same way about 40's that I do about Cobras.
He has 1 major concern though. At 14.25 yrs. old he is 5'11.5".Looking at 6'6" or more.He is getting REAL WORRIED he won't be able to fit into one.
