I'm not THAT old.

Ron61 11-18-2004 09:11 AM

Clay,

I think I must be the only one that keeps getting older. And it seems to be happening faster all the time. :JEKYLHYDE

This has to be the most ignored thread in history. We are on page #27 already with ignoring it.

Ohh, that was rich.

Ron, you are not that old, it's the feeling you get when you read this tread. LOL

Wayne Maybury 11-18-2004 10:56 AM

Did you know that a human being cannot lick his/her own elbow? This is the topic of this thread, isn't it? :JEKYLHYDE :3DSMILE:

Young Mike-

One of the tunes in John Mayer's first CD mentions a "quarter-life crisis." Maybe that's what you are having.

No, wait a minute- 14-1/2 times 4 = 58...

Never mind.

It's 60 degrees and the roads are dry.

Another 3 degrees and I'm on the road, prob last time until spring.

Little Mike, just got back from a 90-mile run in Gunrack.

Weatherman said high 60's, liar. Never got past 60. Last good dry day of the year, I could not resist.

Headed 30 miles south to snag Sweetness and found out what "wind-chill-factor" was all about.

Stopped at a C-store about halfway to warm up my hands and get a Diet Dew.

Store owner asked me what year Corvette I was driving. What an icehole.

I swear to God, an 18-20-year-old college girl (same college as my Sweetness) pulled up in a 280Z, came in the store, and asked me if that was a 1965 AC Cobra replica.

I looked dumb-butt store owner in the eyes and said,

"Dude, there is hope for the next generation."

Naturally, I ran her down the highway for a few miles and took her back to her Z-car.

Gunrack needed to clear her fouled plugs, anyway. She loves to rev. My new speedo is out of whack.

Corvette, my a$$. I eat Vettes. I never said that.

I'm tellin' ya, Little Mike, these things are chick magnets.

She damned near cried when I asked her if she had a camera.

We settled for a crappola cell-phone pic (her phone) with her behind the wheel.

She told me that a Cobra was her dream car, and that this was one of the happiest days of her life.

The warm fuzzies kept me from freezing on the rest of my little trip, probably the last of 2004.

GOD I wish I were 20 years younger.

And single.

When I had pics out of my ride with clay that is the exactly what one of my friends thought:LOL:

"Sweet, is that a Vette?" He said,

I said no, and that it was a 427 S/C Cobra Replica,

He said "Oh, its a replica, that sucks"

My comeback for that was "Theres no Corvette replica because people dont cherish them as much as they do Cobras"

I had a good laugh over that, no Corvette looks that good.

Nice little story UT:)

clayfoushee 11-18-2004 06:39 PM

You're damned right Mike. Even my Vette doesn't look that good:D

uncltodd 11-18-2004 06:47 PM

Little Mike_

I stole this from a CC forum signature...

"It ain't real, but it goes real fast."

It's kinda cool when a total stranger 20-year-old female clamps down on your leg at over... the speed limit.

Yeah, I know, my hormones are all out of balance.

I'm doing my best to distort your view of so-called "adulthood."

Kristen
I took one of my girlfriends to a hamburger joint the other day; just a few miles down the highway. I heard from the gossip mill later she was untangling her hair for hours!!!
She said she'd have tangles any day for a ride in the cobra.
:3DSMILE:
I'm wiped out. going to bed!

Kristen- similar story-

We had one pretty day last week, stopped at City Hall (wife works there) at quitting time and snagged City Manager on a dare.

Long stretch of 4-lane north of town, showed her 5th gear.

"My God, Todd, we're gonna get a ticket!" she screamed.

"Not with you onboard," I yelled back.

Long story short, when she climbed out of Gunrack she said, "I'm never gonna be able to brush my hair again!"

Almost as much fun as when I took my stockbroker for a ride- she screamed "Todd! EEEEH!" at every gearshift, up and down.

I love it when women scream my name out loud.

This thread has rotted to a topic.

Stay off topic!!

There will be no mention of cheese or rocks! LOL

LwCwb 11-19-2004 12:44 PM

Why is it so cold outside?

uncltodd 11-19-2004 01:16 PM

Become one with the cold, it's bigger than you can handle and won't go away.

Kinda like a hemmorhoid.

Or one of your wife's GF's that says and does... unusual things when Wife is in the other room.

God gave me another day of "almost decent" weather.

Passengers can handle 5 minutes sprints on the highway, driver suffers punishment after 10 passengers or so at 60 degrees.

Yeah, I loved it.

And I love my little blue car.

The Vette eatin' little bi+ch.
