Favorite hard candy is Jolly Rancher Cinnamon Fire. 3-4 bags a week.
If you sent Kristen a money order she might get you some blue tennis shoes like hers.:D |
Ron - great shot of that USA formation - now there's some flying!
Kristen - #1 will love Philmont, just hope they have the bears under control. Of course it was only a million years ago that I went there for a month - so I'm sure they have trucked them all far away by now! |
We have so many topics going on I can't keep up.
Ron I was happy it rained. We needed it and it cleaned the air. Almost smells like the coast. Then today we had a chemical plant explosion and the air is filthy again. BIG FIRE, I can see the flames from my house and it is about 50 miles away. They say it will burn all night and into the morning. Snickers, Butterfinger and OREO cookies. I love the Oero's I have to stay away from them as they make me fat. Favorite ice cream is Klondike Heath bars, ummmmm. Great shot of the jets. I think I saw that on the news here oone night but it seems like it was a year or so ago. It may have been something else but the USA was the flight pattern. I think they may have done that shot with a video then clipped out a shot. How about that police chase yesterday where the police car drove completely into the building. I hope he wasn't hurt too bad. Earl, Let us know if you need anything. Beside slepp that is, you know what I am talking about. Ron, I wish I could come but I my be on a plane to Oregon in a week or so, to look at some houses. |
Chocolate-banana malt for ice cream here.
|
brent, that sounds good.... ummmm chocolate banana malt.....
I also like Fudge brownie nut. Anything fudgie..... :) Candy. hmmm. All time favorite, Reese's. But, as of late I have gotten into Hershey with Almond's. Of course the new dark chocolate M&M's are absolutely divine! Hard to find, only been at Target as of late.... I used to loooovvve Snickers, but think I'm burnt out on them. Hard candy. hmmm. Green apple anything, jolly ranchers, particularly. I'll be back.... little cobra girl wants me to watch her skate for a while. Teriyaki chicken stir fry for dinner. Yum yum! I'll be back!!!! K |
uh oh. trouble in paradise..... little girl is 5 (almost 6). She can skate down the back of the drive (not where the garage is, an extension) on a steep part, at pretty good clip. Big girl is 8 (almost 9), and she can't do it..... jealousy has raised its ugly head....
anyway, the younger girl is on beginner rollerblades. Not as beginner as playskool, but slower skates. Big girl is on #2 son's hand me downs, and they are reallly fast blades. So, she has to be a little more cautious. She knows this, but...... anyway, it's good for the little one to be good at something now and then.... Beautiful evening. hubby and son #2 playing ping pong. big boy and friend shooting hoops. girls skating. I'm on the computer. guess I better go back outside. although the dinner dishes and pots (a lot) have my name on them.... ugh. |
You all are bad! Now I am hungry and will be looking for the ice cream.
At my age, I suppose I can just enjoy it and work on the gut later. I may have brakes by the end of this week. That leaves a clutch and shifter job and the cobra will be on and about. Watch out ricers. |
Steve
I'm always around...Just no time to post. **) |
Trularin
Looks like its summer in Australia. We'll do a 'boot camp' here and work on our guts. No ice cream. Now I'm a little north of Port McDonnell which is the cray fish and prawn capital of the world. We can eat plenty of crayfish and it will not affect our girth... Washed down with a cold Chardonay to Sir's liking...:3DSMILE:.. May even get Anne to drive us around... |
Ron 61
Wonder if that formation is set up on the computer....or is skill based formation flying there. Looks great. |
Here's an older Kit Car article
Kristen,
Just went looking for some information on Knotts. This year it was held on the 23rd and 24th of April at Buena Park California the location of Knotts Berry farm. Coverage of the 25th Anniversary Association of Handcrafted Automobiles in Buena Park, CA. www.kitcarmag.com/eventcoverage/142_0409_knotts/ - 45k Bernie |
Can we Skip August, PLEASEEEEEEEEEE
Went home yesterday and it was 80+ degrees in the house with the Thermostat set at 70.....Me thinks the AC unit is going south!
Work sucks.....Home AC sucks.....etc....etc.... Toooooooooooo "HOT" to work on the Cobra........ Pool water feels like warm piss.................... Sister says no funeral service for my Dad...................   **) **) **) Its got to get better, doesn't it????????????? |
Bernie, do you have any hockey teams in Aussie land???
If I hit the lotto, I think I'd be inclined to do a little traveling...after I would make a deal with Hersch.:LOL::LOL: Move the glass bead out and put in Aluminum Oxide. Cuts, but leaves a fine powder. Got one of the trucks fixed, only two left. |
I am not swimming at Earl's. Sorry about your dad's service.
Kristen, I have things going on, but I am going to ship that out to you. :D |
bummer, Earl! why no furneral or memorial service?
also, my AC guy says when it gets just soo hot, the AC just can't get it any cooler. Doesn't matter what the thermostat is set on. In fact, you may be spinning your wheels and spending more $$ setting the thermost. so low. Scoot it up to 72-74, and it will still say 80* in the house; just won't cost as much as trying to get it to 70*. Just my .02 cents worth. In the interest of SAVING SPACE AND WORDS, I don't feel I explained that as succinctly as i would have liked! **) (My elec. bill will $816. this month; remember it was $1000. last! ) scrapbook day today. yea! Kristen thanks, Bernie! I'll check the site out. |
no hurry, Tru. whenever it fits. this huge bug is crawling up the wall. groooosssss! oh it has wings! look out! :JEKYLHYDE
what are you talking about; move the glass bead out and put in Aluminum Oxide? Cuts, but leaves a fine powder for what??? weird! That man I'm not talking to just brought me a cup of coffee. gotta go! hey, tru. I'm one post behind you.... watch your tail man.... ;) |
Bernie,
That formation was for real. I watched the Blue Angles do a similiar thing here at an air show and they were flying at 600 MPH and just 6" apart. I talked to several of the piloits and they told me a lot about their training and how they only get to stay in the group for a certain time because of stress. It is just unbelieveable what some of those guys can do in a jet doing 400-600 MPH. ;) Steve, Hope that you find the house you are looking for in Oregon. If you have time while there, give me a call. I talked to Jack, my best friend yesterday, and we would both like to get a summer place somewhere up in Oregon or Washington for the Summers. He and his wife could use it one year and me the next two since there is just oe of me. :D Earl, Can you close off the air conditioning to part of your house that you may not be using? I have done that in the past and shut the doors to those rooms and it helped some as then all the air went just into the few rooms I left the registers open on. But as Kristen said, when it gots so hot, the air conditioner can only do so much. :( Ron |
Kristen,
I just noticed that you are now closing on Tru for Post Count. Lil Mike didn't put up much of a fight after you Cheated, did he. Ron %/ |
Well, that flaky sister of mine just called, said we are having a memorial service but no funeral. Thats fine with me but thats "NOT" what she said yesterday. I know, you could blaim it on stress but unfortunately she is a flake. I hate to say it about my own sister but it's true.
Tru, it's not really PEE, it just feels like it........ K, yea, I know what you say is right...I'm trying to cool it down more at night hoping it won't heat up as much during the day. Maybe crazy logic, we'll see.........................I wish I could get my wife to scrapbook as much as you do..it relaxes her when she does do it..... Ron, unfortunately we use the WHOLE house................... By the way, everybody, thanks for letting me vent...it feels goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood............ |
Earl,
Things will get better even thought it may not seem so. Two months ago I wouldn't have bet you a penny that I would make it through any of those days until night. Now I feel better and am slowly recovering from the heat stroke, I just have to watch for the peopewho had their hopes up that I wasn't going to make it so they don't decide to help nature along. Keepin toch via e-mail. :) Ron |
