All I need now is Punctuation check!!!

hey,littlecobra 01-09-2005 09:00 AM

I take exception many times to starting a sentence with a capital! On this forum it is a common practice, soooo, when in Rome, do as the Romans! hahaha.

I can't imagine Brent installing spell check on this forum. It would slow CC to a snail's pace, with everyone checking all the time. Or, maybe not. Men still wouldn't use it, even if it was done for them! haha, again!

Nice, Mikez, to see a glimmer of intelligence from a guy regarding spelling and punctuation. Nice, indeed.
k
well, we made it to 101. hmmm.
Hey, Rick, where are you??

EarlsflyinCobra 01-09-2005 09:10 AM

Hey you guys, and gals, no fair talking about me when I'm unavailable to respond.....spent a week in the foothills of NE Georgia and only had limited computer access when the library was open. Then came home and spent a couple of days in the hospital for tests (still don't know if I passed or flunked, but I sure studied hard), so again I had no access.

Well I'm back now, so you can talk about me again!!!!!!!!!!

Mike,

Could you post 100 posts with no spelling errors if Kristen offered to buy you a Cobra?? I wouldn't be able to. :D

Kristen,
I won't believe your self-effronting description without a photo. You said that photo was just wrong. I think this is even worse. This was taken in Halifax Nova Scotia by me in June of this year.

Ron, yes, the only word in the body of the post would be "A." A is a word isnt it, Or is it just a letter?

Earl, I liked the second one better, theres a big difference between #1 and #2.

hey,littlecobra 01-09-2005 01:40 PM

ewww, crilly, yes, it is wronger! ;)

Mike would indeed post 100 posts without an error if it meant getting a Cobra. Now that's a no brainer!

Since Earl has been out of comission for awhile, he's just going along with this thread and padding his post count! Glad you're back, Earl! Hope you passed your tests with straight A's!!

Ron, you are hopeless. What did Clay say a few pages back? Something about wrecking Mike's youthful dreaming? You, on the other hand, wasted your youthful dreaming 50 years ago, and ain't nobody gonna buy you a cobra! :p

life is oh so harsh.
gotta go, I'm STILL working on taking down this Christmas stuff....

So, Jim did you try the Mc lobster? and what the he!! is it?

crillyiv 01-09-2005 03:29 PM

Hell no we didn't try it!? I have seen McRib on T.V. and seeing this confirmed to me that McD's is the worst thing to happen to food ever. I couldn't tell you what it looked like, and I don't want to know if the McRib is any example. Can you imagine processed lobster pressed/formed/molded into . . . %/

We had just had lunch at a place called "Your Father's Mustache". Funny name, but a very good beer and burger type restaurant that was across the street from the McD's. They served Guinness that was fairly fresh and the food wasn't bad either ;)

The last time I ate at McDonalds was two years ago in Plano, TX.

The food gave me the McSquirts.

Gasman 01-09-2005 06:34 PM

Now Kristen, If we are going to buy you some ta-ta's, the least you could do to show your appreciation is buy someone else a Cobra.

hey,littlecobra 01-09-2005 06:46 PM

I'm gonna buy "A-snake" 's original one; and give Mikie my ERA. Now I know it isn't exactly what he wants, but hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, right?? I mean, it does have: great looking tires (don't kick 'em too hard), great engine (68 FE), nice, mostly correct features, (yes, I did add that royal blue racing harness, just couldn't resist!!), a new fuel level gauge, (removed the nonworking fuel pressure gauge), well, you know. It's a really nice car. I WANNA ORIGINAL!!!! A 289 FIA would be really nice. :p

EarlsflyinCobra 01-09-2005 08:20 PM

Sorry guys, I did not mean to post the pic twice, my computer was being stubborn and I did not realize it went through the first time. Then it would not let me delete the 2nd one. I really really really was not trying to inflate my post count!!

EarlsflyinCobra 01-09-2005 08:21 PM

I really wasn't!!!!!!!!!
