Tru,

If that is the sister that does Warren's taxes, he may be in for a rude surprise next year. We don't have road kill around here any more. It is picked up as soon as someone sees it and taken home to eat. These Vietnamese will eat anything.

Ron

GMA

Just passing through. Hope all is well.

Busy busy

Hey Steve - glad to see you're alive and kicking.

Yes Tru and Ron, the "cat" sister is the CPA. But she only has one cat and two dogs. One of my nephews was living with a girl a few years ago, and she had 76 cats. I remember all of the $hit he took from everyone regarding the cats. She spent over $7K just to have them all de-clawed. :p:p Hell, I could have done it for seven dollars.:LOL: He lived with her and the cats for a year before they stopped seeing each other. I would have dumped her in 30 seconds. **) **) **) **) OMG ... seventy six cats!

Busy morning. Moved my Olds 442 to another garage about 5 miles away and spent about 3 hours rearranging the garage at home. It is still a mess. Guess I'll have to transfer a lot of "stuff" to the cellar.

Ron61 07-16-2008 03:03 PM

;)

Warren,

Are you going to add to your garage or what has brought on this clean up of it? I could keep your Cobra or the 442 for you. They would be safe here as there is nothing left to burn.

Ron :p

wtm442 07-16-2008 03:13 PM

Bought a watermelon yesterday. The nectar of the Gods! Ummmmmm good. Just had a huge hunk. Now I need a bath!

Ron - I am planning on tearing down my 1 car garage and put up a 2 car garage with a lift. But I'm not sure I have the room on my postage stamp lot. Have to go to the city and see what are the rules, because most of the house lots around here are "non-conforming" to the existing codes.

If I "can" build a 2 car garage I'll need a 5 foot tall wall and level out the back yard. The only use I get out of the back yard is watching the grass grow and a small veggie garden.

On it;););)

Ron61 07-17-2008 06:25 AM

Tru,
I was only on yesterday for a minute and missed it. But she will certainly be in my prayers from now on. I was to sick to stay on line more than long enough to see if I had any important e-mails and then I went to bed and my priest came out. He will be praying for her too. Best of everything to her and the family.

Ron :)

Ron61 07-17-2008 06:26 AM

:)

Warren, If you don't have enough room to add to the garage, how about tearing down both the house and garage and building a big garage with living quarters in it. I wish I have about a 6 car garage with a small area for living.

Ron

4RE KLR 07-17-2008 08:28 AM

392cobra 07-17-2008 08:33 AM

Hey Steve,

Ron

Hmmmmm. How about replacing the front porch with a sloped handicapped ramp about 8 foot wide and installing a garage door ....... hmmmmm

Got a meeting with my financial adviser this afternoon. I just love to be reminded of how much money I've lost so far this year.

Ron61 07-17-2008 09:09 AM

:D

Now that could be a great idea and the city might even kick in a little as it would be an improvement for the aid of the handicapped. They did that for my neighbor whose wife is wheelchair bound and paid for most of the ramp and changing around of the front porch to accommodate her. And the county kicked in a big amount to get them one of the vans with the lift for her wheelchair.

Ron :)

Well, Uh, I had it directly debited from your account. I hope that is OK :D

Ron61 07-17-2008 12:05 PM

:)

Steve,

And here I was thinking that you had maybe actually cashed in on one of the You Have Inherited $100 Million deals that Warren won't take.

Ron

wtm442 07-17-2008 03:53 PM

Hey Tru

You like on the outskirts of Detroit. Is the following information correct?

Sex In The Shower

In a recent survey, people from Detroit have proven to be the most likely to have had sex in the shower!

In the survey, carried out for leading toiletries firm 'Brut', a huge 86% of Detroit residents said that they have enjoyed sex in the shower.

The other 14% said they hadn't been to prison.
