Steve, you left us in limbo there.

What is up with Jamo and CW??

:D

Well just one more day until Friday and I don't think I have anything that I have to do today, so I am just going to hang around and watch the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament. I watched the Little League World Series and it was one of the best ever and Chula Vista, California won it. I have spent the past 3 1/2 weeks going to thee doctor and getting medicine, but that infection in my leg is now on the mend and I can actually sleep some now as the pain is starting to subside. Funny how small things like that can seem so important.

Ron :)

We will be looking for a new truck next year. The one I put back together has cancer and will be challenged to survive two or three more years.

Dang Joe, that is a shame. Are you going to let a shop fix that up?

Fred, Ron is saving all of the thistle for you, but you have to go and get it.

Guys, went down to 42 last night.

:D :D

No choice really as the damage wasn't near enough to total it. The frame extensions (crumple zone) are bent, and will be replaced. This is the reason I have it at the shop it is at. The guys insurance adjuster asked my buddy, "Can't you just straiten them?" Marc responded No, if this is how you fix cars, you can get back in your car and send someone else out. We are not Service King, we do not take shortcuts. The guy tried to argue that other shops would do that, and kept pushing for it. Marc told the guy that he is not going to do it, it goes against every ICAR standard and he wants to push it, he will report him to the state commission for wanting to put a car on the road that was not repaired correctly. The guy then backed down. I figured that would happen, it always seems to.

Nothing,
They have finally started to close down some of the Club Cobra Political threads.

It looks like Club Cobra is now the place to get ALL your political news.
Oh, and of coarse the posters added .02.:mad::mad:
We can do without either.

Ron61 09-04-2009 02:08 AM

Good morning all. Friday and finally a day with no more things that I have to go to Redding for.

Gee, Steve, without the political threads to read how am I going to find a truly unbiased list of opinions?

Ron

trularin 09-04-2009 06:21 PM

I see. Well, I have a clean cobra and new tires on one of the jeeps.

You are right Steve.

Joe, you might want to just give it to me and all those problem will be gone. :D

Ron, I am not a fan of Fred's music.

:D :D

Ron61 09-05-2009 06:22 AM

Gee Tru,

I doubt if you could get that song by The Beetles.

This should go in the Joke Thread but I will tack it onto this.

THE HILLBILLY VASECTOMY

After their 11th child, an Alabama couple decided that was enough, as they could not afford a larger bed.

So the husband went to his doctor and told him that he and his cousin didn't want to have any more children.

The doctor told him that there was a procedure called a vasectomy that could fix the problem but that it was expensive. "A less costly alternative," said the doctor, "is to go home, get a cherry bomb, (fireworks are legal in Alabama) light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the can up to your ear and count to 10.."
The Alabamian said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest tool in the shed, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me."

"Trust me," said the doctor.

So the man went home, lit a cherry bomb and put it in a beer can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count!

"1"

"2"

"3"

"4"

"5"

At which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs and continued counting on his other hand.

This procedure also works in Tennessee , Kentucky , Louisiana , Arkansas , Mississippi , Missouri , Florida , West Virginia and Washington DC

Ron :p

trularin 09-05-2009 06:55 AM

Ron, that one is at least as old as dirt.

I'm giving it 30 years.

It's the weekend!!!

I slept in and that's what I get for it.

Have a good one.

:D

Ron61 09-05-2009 07:09 AM

:p

Tru,

I knew that it was very old. That is why I thought that you would recognize it immediately.

Ron

Maybe if I sang it instead ?

Ron61 09-05-2009 07:20 AM

:p

Only if you have Frenchy and the Hos as a background group. I don't think The Jordanaires are available now.

Ron :)

trularin 09-05-2009 02:05 PM

Well Fred, maybe the next time I'm down there, you will do that.

Some music is painful. I noticed Ron has been going to the doctors every week since he listened to your music. Do you think there is a connection?

I suppose I could find that string of notes and listen to them in succession.

:D

Ron61 09-06-2009 05:34 AM

I was going to the doctor before I heard Fred's song. I also watched the Texas Ditch Surfer video. And they call people out here crazy.

Ron :D

trularin 09-06-2009 07:25 AM

What is the Texas Ditch Surfer?

Do I need to find this video?

:D

Ron61 09-06-2009 07:31 AM

:D

It is some idiot in Texas that is using a surf board and being pulled by a pickup at high speed down a road while he surfs in a ditch alongside the road that has a little water in it. It really got interesting when he got to where the water went through a culvert.

Ron :)

Now Ron,this is a whole lot harder than you must realize.

You can spend a considerable amount of time finding a ditch with any amount of water in it,to start with.

All those WUSSIES on the Left Coast & Hawaii couldn't have it any easier with all that room to splash around in the water with.

It takes Cajones to Shoot The Tube Texas Style.Just try maintaining your composure as you fly through a culvert head first on your stomach at 50 mph.Takes a lot practice.

As far as "some Idiot",I heard it was a group of Aggie Cadets that perfected this sport.:)

trularin 09-06-2009 08:39 PM

I heard the Romanians are really good at it.

Ron61 09-07-2009 10:59 AM

:D

Whomever perfected it, I would not want to be that guy in the video. He didn't go through the culvert bur he certainly went well over it when the board hit the end of it.

Ron :LOL::LOL:

trularin 09-07-2009 03:49 PM

So this is really a video?

Is it on Youtube?
