James Arness played the thing, but I think the title was something like

The Thing From Another World or something close.

Michael Landon was one of the most successful TV stars ever, in terms of high-rated shows in consecutive years, surpassing James Arness and Lucille Ball.

Bonanza - 1959 to 1973
Little House on the Prairie - 1974 to 1983
Highway to Heaven - 1984 to 1989

Well done...

okay... which actor - who has a impressive 85 year up & down career (as is his luck with marriages)(that's a huge hint) ...just recently had a cameo appearance in a recent movie hit?

Mickey Rooney!, that reminds of something I wanted to ask. The last time I saw his cameo was in 'night at the museum', I'm sure he was there to give one of the 'worst movies I've ever seen some resemblance of interest. I couldn't take it very long and hit the stop button after 15 minutes. Mickey is fine but, what is it with this 'Ben Stiller'?. Who/why would someone keep promoting/financing movies for this guy who has absolutely no talent?. On a good day, he is a -B movie actor.

I just don't get it.........

I don't get it?.

I rather enjoyed the movie -- maybe because of all the history intertwined..and Robin Williams made such a terrific looking Roosevelt....not to mention seeing so many cameos of actors we hadn't seen in such a long time.

Okay...another trivia --

What was the profession of Charlie Brown's (Peanuts) father?

Yes, Fred. That's supposedly the heaviest when you do a google search. On a show on the Discovery channel last night, they said the heaviest was 5 pounds. Of course, when you did the Google search, did you see the info regarding a "supposedly" record of 8 pounds in Spain!
