Smile 3 Things To Ponder

Three Things to Ponder:

1. Cows

2. The Constitution

3. The Ten Commandments

Cows

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to, their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

The Constitution

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The Ten Commandments

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery," and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment .

Think I'll send the 'Constitution' to my representatives.

Why sent it to them? If they are like ours they wouldn't understand it anyway. The only thing they understand is money and votes and that is why I wish we could vote most of the current crop of crooks out of office.

Hey!, there's a mindset up there that's close to unbreakable.

I agree with getting them ALL out of office starting with the dictator/president.

Barabar,

Now that would really be a great thing to see. After all, we took this land away from them just as the illegals are doing to us. The mindset in our Govt. is no longer to serve the people but to rule them as a body until one of them can figure a way to get rid of the rest and become dictator.

If my "Native American" ancestors had compound bows, our nation would be a bit different now, I think.

Picture it: My great-great grandpa with his single-shot, percussion-cap rifle, effective range about 100 yards.

My other great-great grandpa with his quick-loading, repeating compound bow, effective range well over 100 yards.

Most of us would be speaking Spanish now, and the nation's Capitol would probably be here in what we Choctaws call Ok-La-Ho-Ma.

I think I'll start in on one of those "alternate history" novels.

Or maybe move to Ca-Na-Da.

Default Future

All your great society have been destroyed from with in. There are distinct and direct parallels between are goverment and the Roman Empire. The only difference is time. You don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to see this train wreck coming.

I still need to know from whom I stole this quote:

"History has not been kind to wealthy republics."
