Hey Folks,
It seems the deportation issue is driving the illegals running north.
A link from my community paper today!!

Scott,
Not to start an argument, but if they got rid of all the illegals the Govt. is bowing down to, maybe they could help some of our vets who are homeless have homes. They sure as he** deserve them more in my opinion than a bunch of illegals who get about anything they want it seems. Did you see the report on the homeless where a huge amount of them are returning vets. They go fight and get maimed and killed for us and the dam politicians turn their backs on them once they are not able to do any more. Even the Russians take care of their vets and they don't seem to have nearly the illegal problem that we do.

The empty houses, and apartments will be just another hurdle to cross to get our country back on track. We have been living to high on the hog, and now it is time to pay for it.
Most of this country has been on cloud nine, and now we are back on earth. It is the reality of it. The housing mess was a false economy. That's why we are tightening the belt around the waist now.
My apologies to our friend, and neighbors up north for the influx of ILLEGALS. We didn't hand them a road map with a compass. They just don't want to go home to their OWN extremely poor country.
Have many of you actually travelled, and or lived in Mexico? It is a beautiful country, and a very proud people. I travelled, and lived in Mexico on my first sailboat for 5 months. I did not do much of the tourist thing. I mostly travelled the coastline of Baja, and it gives a whole new meaning to DIRT POOR.
All the protesting, and complaining the ILLEGALS do here. They need to take that energy back home, and correct their own country. When the super rich there quit milking their own people of everything. They won't be so eager to come here.
I also lived with a Mexican woman for several years, and immersed myself into her family, and culture. What I saw, and experienced on how they felt about Americans, and America was not a good thing. I say send them home with a PHUKKING boot stuck up their ARSE!

I do kind of wonder how much of a problem it wil be for Canada when the pressure begins to build here. And it is building! They sure as heck won't head back to Mexico. With Canada's heavy tax system, it seems to me there would be less ability to absorb them. But I am sure they will be willing to do it without complaint, it would give them an opportunity to prove how superior they are to us.
Scott, I do not know how to answer your question.
Mike

Banks are shutting their mortgage departments down, I know of three subdivisions (lots only) that will be on the auction block soon and many local sub-contractors are looking for work. Fella's, it's going to get bad next year. I'm not a fatalist by any means but, it's gonna happen. Hope you guys are prepared.
We probably won't need an immigration bill, they'll be heading home on their own...

100% effective fence!
and so far, 100% efficient!
There are actually 4 wire fences in this picture. The short one, right in front of the car. The two tall fences topped with razor wire on the other side of the guntower. And one in between those two, carrying 15,000 volt's!
It's the one in the middle that does all the damage! I think a few solar panels down along the border should be pretty self-sufficient.
We have yet to loose one thru an electric fence. Can you say 0% illegal immigration!
Fill the guntowers with all of those returning Vet's!

Is that a border fence?
BTW, have you all noted in the media about the folks coming down from Canada for medical care? The one story that sticks out in recent memory is of a couple pregnant with quintuplets. Some place like Dakota or Idaho? Ok its Montana:

Seems very few if any Americans are streaming north to Canada except for goverment subsidized prescription meds. Oh, and thank the Canuck tax payers for that. Gotta be happy about that one!

It could be!
It's a prison fence, at Folsom Prison!
I work there. We like to think of it as a 'gated community'!
Pretty secure parking, don't you think?

2 things we in Canada have that attract illegals and is a burden on our society:
1- Free health care, nobody is denied the right to live. Our constitution
2- No body should be denied food and a place to live also under our constitution.
Very rare we hear news about someone dieing outside homeless or starvation or the cold...
But we need to change these humanitarian issues to apply to citizens and our American neighbour's only. Illegals should not have these rights, because if that was the case we would not be so attractive to nomads pitching camp here. Our taxes really are not that bad in comparison to the quality of life. Speaking of which our crime used to be Nil until the influx of illegals.

I thought you were going to be silent? I prefer that in you. He just doesn't know when to quit and SHUT THE HELL UP about Canada!!!
Dude enough already, go start a "I hate Canada thread" or purchase a personality. You better be careful when you spread hate about a country.
Jamo, is there nothing you can say to him?
For the record about people going to the US for medical treatment, why not do a bit of research and look into how many Doctors in USA are Canadian and specialists at that. We lost a hell of a lot in the past few years because our govt put a cap on salaries. So our best went south.
Now show me your best Helen Keller or Marcel Marceau...lol jack ass!

Jamo,
Not original but yet biased and expected. Next time hostages get rescued in Iran from the Canadian embassy play that and feel remorse.

Ask Mike.......
.......about this one!
Folsom inmate wins suit against prison
By Denny Walsh - dwalsh@sacbee.com
Published 10:58 am PST Saturday, November 10, 2007
A federal court jury has awarded an inmate $39,000 in punitive damages after determining that his constitutional right to be free of cruel and unusual punishment was violated when he was deprived of outdoor exercise during four extended lockdowns at a state prison in Folsom.
The jury directed six high-ranking current and former corrections officials to pay Gregory Lynn Norwood $39,000 in punitive damages, which are meant to punish and make an example of defendants and to deter others from similar conduct.
The jury of seven women and one man deliberated nine hours and returned its verdict Thursday.
At the heart of Norwood's civil rights lawsuit were the four lockdowns at the facility where he was housed at California State Prison, Sacramento - also known as New Folsom - in 2002 and 2003. The lockdowns stemmed from separate prisoner attacks on staff.
Norwood, 46, who is doing life without parole on first degree murder and second degree robbery convictions, claimed the lockdowns deprived him of outdoor exercise, resulting in stress, anxiety, depression, headaches and muscle cramps.
He contended the lockdowns were needlessly prolonged, ostensibly for security reasons, but actually as punishment and retaliation.
What a bunch of BS! Fricken juries!
