Venamm, the tribes came in through Alaska. So Canada can blame the US for allowing the tribes to migrate. But since Russia owned it before we did...It's all the fault of the commies!!
And Mike is right - most of our ancestors came here through legal means after a government was set up. The problem we have is illegal immigrants. We have a legal means set up to allow people from just about any country to live in the US. We plan our resources around allowing in a pre-determined number of people. We have too many people entering the country, and they are throwing off those numbers. This ends up costing Americans more money to support them. The majority happens to be Mexican, but there are other nationalities as well. I would agree with you that Americans sometimes think that their poo don't stink, but in this case it has nothing to do with that. There is no racism or national superiority involved as the illegals are from a number of countries.

I don't know you well but at first impressions you seem kind and logical. You are correct if you have the time go back and read the threads he was the first to attack.

I understand the legal versus illegal we have our share here too. But they come not by border crossing but by visitors visa's. Common wealth countries have a freedom sort of speak to travel to other CW counties, and then they don't leave. The big ones are Jamaicans and East Indians. Not bashing them at all but a few refuse not to wait for the lengthy applications or registration process and just go AWOL once they enter.
