Bill,
That is good. Now based on that if I can just figure out exactly what I am, it should help a lot.

Once again, slowly - The GOP is anti-American - examples please? Those cited do not qualify, at all.

They are perfect examples. They show the GOP trying to legislate decisions that should be a private matter between the people involved. That is a direct contradiction of the American ideal of limited government.

I certainly agree with the ideals of limited Govt., but I fear the pendulum has swung to far the other way now. It is the people who are here to serve the Govt. and our opinion seems to mean nothing even when we vote.

Now that's delusional! Those are policy issues, not anti-American positions. Also, being for or against limited government is not anti-American - it's once again a policy issue with somewhat supportable views on both sides.
Any attempts at legislation are policy oriented, hopefully, unless - for example - liberal attempts to stop paying the troops versus voting to stop the war, period. Now, that is anti-troop and anti-American and I suspect that if you had a vote, you also would try to stop paying the troops and stop others funds that support the troops.
BTW - I'm really taken back that you are a Cobra owner and posting on this site. You sound more like the Prius crowd, democratunderground, Sharpton/Jackson supporter - more like a terrorist loving, immigrant-coddling, godless, tax-raising, America hating potential traitor.

I don't believe he has a Cobra but he does have a pretty nice Corvette I hear.
The rest is about right though.

CdC,
So you are in favour of government intrusions into our lives then. You are not in favour of freedom of the individual to make their own decisions. I thought so.
I think it's been a few too many decades since your last American Civics class. You have no idea why this country was created. I think you would be a lot happier in a country with a lot of centralised power and lots of strict moral controls - perhaps Afghanistan under the Taliban is the proper place for you. I hear the Taliban is winning there...

Actually, I didn't state what I was in favor of, but the discussion of government's role is not anti-American - but, you are - with the latest statement that the Taliban is winning in Afghanistan. Are you Satan?
Liberals, like you are weeds in the lawn of society.
