Joe,

Just what kind of Cobra would you prefer? A roadster, Daytona Coupe, or Gt-40. Also do you have any specific brand in mind at this time?

No brands are specific, but I do want a roadster. I have always loved that look the best. I like the coupes and GT40s as well and if I get to the point of having enough money, I would love to have one of those too.

I have had 2 car dreams since I was a kid. 1 is to build my own hot rod and 2 is to own a Cobra. One of these kits is the culmination of both of my dreams. I am now in a place where I can see it happening, but not quite reach it yet.

I wish I had some kind of suggestion that would help you, but with your job and the way you have to be gone, I think winning the lottery would be the fastest way. There are good paying jobs that can be done at home but unfortunately you have to be there much of the time. And as Ernie said in his post, you can try the things he did and if you are fortunate you will come out well off like he did, but you could also come out losing everything. A neighbor that I used to have made good money on restoring old Volkswagens, but he didn't take them in for people. He would just go find one and work on it as he had time and when he had it finished then he would put it out in his driveway for sale. I used to go down and tinker with him on them and I was surprised at the prices he got for those old cars.
