They will just make it a law. They do it all of the time. Look at the motorcycle helmet law. They tried passing the law every year for what, 20 years? They could not get the voters to pass it so the govener (I forget which one) just made it a law not giving a dam what the voters wanted. And now try to get it taken off. Good luck. Sorry to rant. I did not want to take over Ron's thread. Just voicing my opinion.

You haven't taken over any thread. I wish more people would start voicing their opinions about what this dam state is doing before they even take away the right to vote here. I have called and sent e-mails to almost every politician in Sacramento about the stupid car and gun legislation and all I have ever gotten is, "This is what the people want." I love this state but if my health were better I would get out of it as quickly as I could. And the other states had better start worrying as what these idiots are doing is going to spread as there isn't a politician anywhere that doesn't envy the California group and all of their power over the people.

Sounds pretty lucid to me....
I know my city officials....very well (lol), and the state guys pretty well. I enjoy harassing them over the stupid shi'ite they do. I even get to rattle my federal cages every now and then! And I NEVER miss a vote........
