one city government is condemning folks houses/property so wal-mart can build a mega-store cause the city needs the revenue.Governments at all levels have become a tax burden.Property tax is reassessed every year here, now.Up over 1000% in one year in one isolated instance. When the gov. gets the new money they blow it like it is nothing, usually on pay raises.Sorry, RON, California isn,t alone ,not stealing your threadjust trying to be helpful.Government has become a financial burden on the citizenry.Will-alabama

Will,

Feel free. I think all govt. in this country is corrupt as they can be and will keep taking away rights until they cause a civil war or another country takes over and gets rid of all the politicians we have now and installs their own.

Asp,

The ammunition permit won't ban anything but it is a duplicate of the 15 day check they do when you buy a gun. And a year or so ago I read it costs the state around $400 to do the gun check so why piss away another $400 for a $40 ammunition permit. I wish they would do something about the economy and job situation but they are to busy getting their names in the news with this crap to do anything abut the states affairs.

Ron

Default Ron

every am when I pick up the paper it,s another group of politicians indicted ,arrested, or held for questioning in some scam involving the peoples money.Former gov. is in prison, and it goes from there, it is no wonder the state is broke financially all the time. One senator walked around for two-three months with a 1.5 million check in his pocket from state of alabama trying to make commisioners in home county buy 600 acres of land he had a good hand in, commisioners refused to do the deal, said it was wrong, and good senator was never questioned about it at all.Had to give money back when it was disclosed.RON--I too, am turning against washington, the state and local folks---folks. Hell of a note when folks can come to your country, go to your flight school, commander your planes ,fly them into your buildings, kill 3000 of your neighbors, and everybody in washington was told about it under two sitting presidents and they did nothing. We haven,t talked about the invasion from the south, still another one while washington sits on it,s ass.FRiday 2 cents. In alabama we are suppose to be dumb as heck and backwards---but common ordinary folks can tell when the melon is rotten.Will-alabama
