For those of you who blame the lawyers for this suit, you are obviously too blind to read the link and note that the American Council for the Blind hired the attorneys to bring the action.
I'm sure when you hit your fingers while nailing that it is the hammer's fault.
Personally, I think the handicap discrimination area of law has gone beyond assinine. A couple of years ago, a union school bus driver who had recently become legally blind sued the school district that terminated her on that basis to force it to reinstate her and station another driver in the first row behind her as a "reasonable accomodation." Thankfully, the court said no.
I'm wondering what else we can do to make our currency mo betta for everyone.
I'm sure Latinos would like the reverse printed in Spanish, maybe with a pic of Zapata and the Mexican flag? (Feel free to insert other cultural groups/languages.)
We've already had attacks against religious phrases ("In God We Trust"), maybe some folks don't like the pyramid or the "all seeing eye." I'm concerned about that last thing...I'm thinking it's anti-Hobbit.
How about a warning: "Handling currency which has been in circulation may be hazardous to your health."
Maybe we need an audio chip implanted for the morons who don't know how to handle their money: "Are you really really sure you need whatever you are using me to pay for?"
Added:
A little bungie attached to each bill for those who are bipolar.
A reverse image/text on the back for dixlexic folks.
