steve, when you say, 'there are plenty of positions on legitimate issues that Obama has taken that should be attacked, and the same goes for McCain'........ Where are the specifics?. It's a shame I've got to spell it out, you and ernie are a trip.......

Perry, your history shows that you are too chicken to debate real issues. You have already run away when I posted comments about the tax plans of both candidates.
Still, since I get such a kick out of watching you guys hide behind cartoons of Obama wearing lipstick instead of taking on tough questions I will make a new thread tonight using TurnpikeBoys list from the 'why support Obama' thread. I will correct the mistakes (there are a lot of them) he made in that list, and post my references. If any McCain supporter, or Obama supporter (ie, Ernie) posts a cartoon, calls either candidate a name, or makes a statement without being able to back it up with verifiable facts the thread will be closed, with the acknowledgment that you caused your side to lose the debate.
Think you can handle it? Personally I don't think you can.

Vrm i agree McCain is not much better-- BUT he is not promising everyone everything.
When O first came on the scene i was close to sigining up to work for him, but as i heard more i realize i guy for CHANGE does not work under the DALY/ Chicago corrupt machine. He played the game and never voted on anything important, knowing he would be calle don it once he ran.
His idea to raise the tax's of oil and other corporations is a joke!! You know darn well they will raise there prices.
As for voting at first i felt-- never again ,but i'm afraid that Obama will break me.
Neither is much of a candidate. But one WILL rasie my tax's |

I agree with SmokingCobra2, both candidates are not the greatest, but McCain is the one that stands for my beliefs and values the best.
I do however enjoy all the "trash talk" on this site...what fun it is to be an American..free to say whatever we want.

If you really want to see a strange line of attack, take a look at the wolf ad. It cuts from Palin’s face to Obama’s to packs of wolves prowling through the forest, presumably in search of vice-presidential prey. Then comes the text claiming that as Barack drops in the polls, “he’ll try to destroy her.” Given Palin’s affection for shooting wolves from airplanes with high-powered rifles, it’d be more appropriate to have them cowering in their dens while she aims her machine gun from a diving Cessna. "
