With all due respect, when did national boundaries ever prevent the US government from stating it's views.
All I'm doing is stating an opinion. On a board that may be based on a server that resides in the US but advertises as the world's largest non-biased cobra site. As a medium the internet is certainly global. Please don't tell me that I cannot make comment here.
It's clear to all that she is entirely unsuited to office. The cynical amongst us would suggest a desperate ploy to entice female and rural voters to the Republican camp. The recent Michigan withdrawl confirms the tide is swinging towards Obama and certainly the McCain camp have begun to circle the wagons. Palin has become a liability now.

sure the non bias refers to cobras, not every braindamaged idea out of
canada. and how much do you pay for gas when oil actually bubbles to the surface in the more northern parts of canada(i have seen it) they must be airheads up there.

Am I the only person that will be very happy when this election campaign is finally over? Of course, the bad news is that they will start unofficially campaigning for 2012 in another year or so.

i agree wayne but from quebec its pretty watered down there. how do you think we feel, around here people giving each other the middle finger, to garbage being thrown in our yards, farging political signs everyfreakin-where.
its dumb all over and no end in sight. actual voting day will not be the end.
litigation over voting fraud, the blame game will go on. and so on, and so on.

Wayne,
I have never been so tired of political crap in my life. And just the other day I was watching some show that had Hillery on it for a few words. And most of her words amounted to the fact she would be available to run for president in 2012. We haven't even gotten past this mess and she is already starting to campaign for then.

Well that didn't take long.
Actually, we get the American election campaign almost 24/7 even though we have a Federal election campaign of our own underway up here at the same time.
Wouldn't it be nice if A) the US Presidential campaign was limited to several months, B) the candidates focused on the issues instead of mud slinging, and C) if the parties and their followers showed a bit more tolerance for their opponents? Unfortunately Presidential campaigning seems to never end, mud slinging is the top priority, and the 2 sides seem to have absolutely no respect for the views of their opponents. I guess that is why it is difficult to get good people involved in politics these days.
The only real difference up here is that an election campaign is limited to just over a month and there are very tight spending controls in place.

Couldn't agree more.
Here in Nova Scotia we have municipal elections at the same time as the Federal. If you watched our debate on at the same time as the US VP debate, it was hard to know which was more dissapointing. When did politics stop being about representing public opinion and became all about getting into office. It's all just a load of bullcrap.
