Bill Clinton promised no new taxes when he ran ... and he increased taxes. Bush the elder promised no new taxes but, sorry, he raised taxes.
Barack Obama's vote on tax issues has been 92 to 0. That's 92 votes for higher taxes in the past in the Senate.
Do you really believe he is going to cut taxes? Of course, he wants to eliminate the Bush tax cuts. It's the patriotic thing to do ... pay higher taxes.
As he has said 3 million times, I will cut taxes on 95% of all people.
Hey Barack - wake up. Forty five percent of wage earners pay ZERO federal taxes. It must be the new math. Or maybe he has a printing press in his basement.
He must, since he has promised over 1.6 trillion dollars of new spending programs during this campaign.
Here comes the socialist freight train. He wants to distribute tons of your money to the poor disadvantaged people. The only way to derail this freight train is to .....

So prove it wrong. Attacking the source of the info does NOT disprove the information presented.

Some more input from the same center.....
Obama and McCain Tax Proposals
According to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain are both proposing tax plans that would result in cuts for most American families. Obama's plan gives the biggest cuts to those who make the least, while McCain would give the largest cuts to the very wealthy. For the approximately 147,000 families that make up the top 0.1 percent of the income scale, the difference between the two plans is stark. While McCain offers a $269,364 tax cut, Obama would raise their taxes, on average, by $701,885 - a difference of nearly $1 million.
Now, why increase tax on anyone at this time? And, why go for wealth redistribution at this time?

CdC,
The wealthy do not need a tax cut at this time (though it would be nice). The middle class do. And. no - I'm not in favour of raising taxes, but if McCains plan had the larger increases at he bottom and middle of the scale, and nothing or next to nothing at the top there is a chance I might actually vote for him.

When Reagan was President, it was called ...
trickle down economics.
If Obama get elected, it will be ...
trickle up poverty.
