You want to compare unemployment and interest rates under Carter and what they were when reagan left 8 years later? Reagan saved our country from the disaster that was Carter. I think Obama is the second coming of Carter but with a more socialist trend.

Actually the recession started during the Nixon administration and continued on through the ford administrating, Carter was just lucky enough to come into office when it was at its worse! by the end of his administration the economy had turned around, so it made Reagan look good. As for Reagan he was the worst thing to happen to this country, all the problems we are suffering through now is as a result of his policies! to de-regulate industry, and allow corporations to run amuck, as well as turn the government anti union, and the best one of all, trickledown economics Ha! Bush was right, it was voodoo economics.
