Exxon Mobil's profit was 14.83 billion on sales of 137.7 billion.

Do the MATH

That is only a 10.8% profit on sales. That is nothing to write home about. If Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had that profit, we would not be in the mess we are in now.

My congratulations to the upper management team for showing a respectable profit level during this period of wild swings in the world wide economy.

If you are a small business owner, how would you like it if everyone in your neighborhood carried signs in front of your house denouncing your business as predatory and insisting you should pay a huge windfall profit tax because your business made a 10% profit?

Pure stupidity and typical class warfare from the elite left-wing media.

Also, buy Exxon Mobile stock so you can get a chunk of that profit.
