The NYT article was indeed a hit-piece on Bush.
I guess the NY Times forgot about their own article back in 1999 when they spoke of Fannie and Freddie.

Here is a favorite video of mine with Barney Frank sticking his foot in his mouth while sticking up for his pals at Fannie Mae. -I especially like the part where he say's that, even if they fail, "the Fed Govt wouldn't bail them out."

People are going to have to really DID DEEP for facts in the upcoming years (especially the next 4) because the Press is going to do everything they can to protect Obama, and blame all of America's upcoming problems (during the Obama years) on former Bush policies.
-Journalistic integrity is long gone in this Country, folks.
