Wes,
I have bought all of my major house hold and yard and garden stuff from Sears since the early 60s and have had nothing but great service. I had one TV that didn't last long, but the repairman they send out told me he already knew what the problem was as they had a design flaw in a circuit board and he took about 20 minutes to fix it and I used that TV for years after that. Same for the lawn mowers and tools. I have almost all Craftsman tools. I broke a socket by putting a long leverage bar on it and took it in just to make sure that I got the correct one and told the guy what I had did and I just wanted to buy another one with the same amount of points. He looked at it, went and got me a new one and told me there was no charge as it shouldn't have broken even though I did use the extra leverage. So unless they start to go downhill I will continue to buy my stuff from them. My refrigerator and kitchen range I bought in 1976 and they are still working well. Not as efficient as the new models, but with no more than I use them not worth the price to change them out until they fail.
Edit: I am looking at some of the new flat screen TVs they have and may buy one next year. The one that I have is about 5 years old and still works great but it is abig, heavy one and I also got it at Sears.
