Not knowing the finer points of our legal system; without being citizens how do you get the courts ear and what judge would allow this case in his court? Please answer this so we can understand. If we quit providing all the benifits that these folks learn to expect when they flock to out country we would be on our way to resolving the recession(??)

The man is doing the law's work, risking his life, and they allow him to be punished. Shame on those who allow it. He should be given a big shiny medal.....i2f

I think we have to allow one human, of any sort, to challenge another, of any sort, in our courts ...or this wouldn't be America.

One would hope the court jury would be made of actual citizens. But if the Arizona jury is "ethnic" enough to be biased, I suppose Roger Barnett is in trouble. Kind of like an OJ thing.

Someone sent me this today:

"HOOVER , TRUMAN AND EISENHOWER

Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.

Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work. Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans. And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback' so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them!

Now, if they could deport the illegal's back then, they can sure do it today! lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetback .

Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes...12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you! ..."

I have just been told that Congress has recently passed a bill which
allows illegal aliens access to Social Security benefits. What gives?
When will someone in power standup for American citizens who have been
paying into the system all their lives.

I did search Operation Wetback, and I'm 100% behind an idea like it. But I would not use the history of this program as an example unless you want to use correct numbers. The 13,000,000 deported looks a lot more like 1.3 million, TOPS. And only a few thousands of them actually deported. Wiki above only claims 80,000 actually arrested and shipped back. The rest it is "ESTIMATED" returned to Mexico on their own. Meaning, no proof of a single person leaving the US.
We can't defeat the idiots in DC by out disinformationing them.

We need truth as a secret weapon. There's no chance they'll even recognize it, right in front of them.

We cannot out lie them.

Smile Sometime yestiddy........

.......while I was indoors* and listening to talk radio, someone cited an interview with an (Asian) Indian. The gentleman said that, aside from just waiting for the free-market system to right itself, which might take a few years (though I doubt that, the USA could go for a real "stimulus" by letting thousands of Asiatic families (from India and China primarily) immigrate. They would buy up all the foreclosed houses, failing small businesses, start their own businesses, work 18 hours a day, PAY THEIR TAXES, and yank America back onto the tracks leading to prosperity! I was thunderstruck. I remember the scene from Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing" where the Asian family moves in, opens a store, etc. etc., much to the outrage of their urban neighbors.......

In any case, I thought that was a fascinating proposal. Made, no doubt, rhetorically, but surely right on the button, re varying work-habits.

* Yes, she does let me in from time to time! Ar-ar-ar
**I think this fraudulent "Stimulus" Obamanation will essentially SLOW DOWN the normal, cyclical rebounding of the economy. Anyway, Sayonara freedom......

Carrion,

What we have here is a difference in the spirit of the law and the word of the law. He is doing the 'right' thing in the spirit of the law but unfortunately the word of the law means his method is in question.

Tourists have the same legal protection as citizens, so legally it was the same as if he detained any of you by the threat of force. The only difference here is that they were illegal tourists, but unfortunately that difference currently has no legal difference. Yes they are trespassing on his property, but without him being a sworn LEO he can't legally do that much. If anyone trespassed on your property you can't detain them on it while calling the police about them being on it, nor can you detain someone on suspicion of breaking the law.

This guy is doing the right thing, and the law should be changed to suit.

All this is based upon my understanding and having once been near a holiday inn.

Did you have an unplugged electric chain saw with you by that Holiday Inn?
