One would think there would be plenty of poop-on, Fred.

But from experience, I think the most notable visual effect might be feathers. There is a lot of wild game along the rail right-of-way. Birds, in particular, like the ballast, perhaps for gullet-gravel. Especially pheasants.

The easiest way to avoid hitting these critters is by cutting the headlight, even during the day. Then hope for the best. Because of the huge locomotive nose, it's impossible to see if they escape (always at the last second).

But if they don't, there is a hell of a flurry of feathers on the downwind side of the train, as seen in the mirrors. And probably a mist of poop-on.

So that's where Citroen stole all their ideas!!

The Brits must have had a hand in building that car too. Watching the video, I swear I saw a part fall off!
