Bill,
I read about the new Cobra Jet Mustangs in a Ford book that I get and they were all sold before they even got them finished. This Ford dealer here didn't even know what I was talking abut when I called and asked if they could get one. They sound like a very good drag car for the money.

GM had no car to run in this class, as stated...
They are taking their time with the Camaro.

GM Performance Division no more
Not sure if anyone cares but to add to the strength Ford continues to show on the Racing side, I read a few weeks back that GM disbanded their performance division that used to develop the "SS" performance variants and others etc. as a result of well, ........ being broke. Sad really, competition is healthy.

The SS program is being outsourced, a redesign and a lightening program is being implimented, the new tires are said to reduce the ride height and reduce rolling resistance. The new wheels are AWSOME
