Old Kim has a pretty good game on right now...blackmailing the west is working pretty good for him. And absolutely...W was a loud talker but weak on doing. It amazes me that people try to call that lump a conservative. NK has openly traded nuclear tech with Iran and Syria..no new news there. I wonder about the Chinese angle mostly. Here they are in Bejing, calmly taking over the world (with our help) and Kim comes along to throw monkey wrenches in the works. All the Chicoms need is the loon in Pyonyang to take one step too far and start a shooting war. Now, again with W...what could he have done BESIDES talk? Invade? That would have REALLY made the Chicoms happy! Bomb? Ditto. Reality says that the ONLY ones who can pressure Kim are the Chicoms since the everybody in the west refuses to work together to reduce this idiot.

And just read over Reuters that Kimmy is now threatening military action against SK AND ships in international waters. UN is wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth. Admits that any actions have to be 'pursued' by China to be effective.
But remember, NK, not a REAL threat to peace!

North Korea has always been a big threat to any peace. And China just wants them as a buffer so we won't have troops on their border. Even Russia is starting to get worried about them. They would make just as an effective buffer if that area was a large piece of radioactive glass. And given long enough they will use their new toys on anyone they can get to with them. They would love to be able to hit Alaska or the West Coast. I have always been more afraid of them getting a nuclear bomb than anyone else.
