Regarding MA residence, might want to consider the insurance disclosure, garaging in one state but titled/registered in another state. Might be a reason to deny a claim unless the garage location is disclosed to the insurance company etc., etc.
Also, the city/town property tax would be paid to MA not CT, but primarily garaged in CT.
