Thanks John. Besides some local friends, you are the only one who saw every picture of the disassembled car and almost every document back and forth between the lawyers, the builder and I. E-M refused to look at anything and even returned my "return" receipt packet unseen - just refused it.

It still amazes me to no end that the authorities did not want to get involved even after the safety issues and the lies about installed components came to light.

Oh well. FL is a great place for crooks.

But you're right. I have enjoyed cruising all summer. It's pretty cold now, but I still drive it when it's clear with no chance of rain. Should see the looks I get from the Germans all bundled up like an Eskimo. :-)
