I'm still stuck on that 289 street idea. Think you could sell a few of these?
:-)

(P.S. -- Yes, I know that is not really CSX2000. Photoshop is a grand thing. )

Wink

Jamo,
Understood, I'll behave!

David,
If Shelby suddenly decides to purchase ALL 10 cars will you extend the offer for another 10?

Tom,

You have made a very wise decision.

If you wish the essence of the 60's, done today with the best of fabrication from Europe, you have found the very best and the right manufacturer.

Kirkham does it better than anyone. Just ask SAI.

The JBL is a different beast. It is not the 60's. JBL sells current technology. Not the past.

Kirkham is the best at that. Hands down.

Hey Semko,

If you only knew the details and ramifications of the offering you might see it another way.

I did not intend for this to go down the way it did but can only sit back and watch the fall out on the decision to decrease the retail price of a replica automobile.

I'm glad I do not possess the same crystal ball as yourself.

To all,

Please do not consider any of the postings by myself as an insult to your enthusiastic attituded towards a vehicle that has captured the dreams of all.

I will minimize posting outside the manufactures forum from this point in order to avoid negative feedback, mis-communication and ill feelings going forward.

David,

What are the prospects for a slabside roller at that price?

That would severely complicate my life, but what the hey?

Talking

Ben,

Not only read, but also shown to the wife.......Of course this time of year, my answer is the same as the last thread in this price range. If I only had the money. Guess I'll have to check my Big Game tickets from last night....if I won, all 10 will be mine before the end of the weekend . At least one of every flavor .

Bill S.

David,

This makes me sick. I knew I should have sold my FFR a month ago. This has got to be the best deal going on the planet right now. However I still have medical bills to pay from an illness earlier this year.

It's good to see someone proud enough of what they do to challenge the big dog.

Is that kind of like the new CAV Shelby roller?

Hmmm, let me see, DECREASE the price of a replica automobile....lets see...

the ramifications......

a) offer the vehicles at a slight discount will generate more interest (i.e. customers).
b) interact on a BB and not offend your potential customer base will generate more interest (i.e. customers).
c) not everyone has to have a CSX #, if a manufacturer is producing alloy bodies for SAI, why not offer the same car at a lower price? so why not make it attractive to your potential customer base.
d) offering an alloy roller at the same price as a fiberglass roller from South Africa? Should generate more interest (i.e. customers).

Someone hit me over the head with a mallet!

OH BEEJEESUS, how I wish I had $39,000 right now. I haven't been this excited since the time that porn star did $%@# to my %!$# on the &^%$#. Now if only 390 kind cobra owners would order a set of my FE valve cover adapter plates I might be able to swing a real live Kirkham for myself. On the other hand, I wonder if the Kirkhams have a trade in program. I have a nice, slightly used scratchbuilt Cobra replica I could part with.

You can't afford to sell it.... EVER.....

And if you do send a check to the Kirkhams, I want to make the trip with you to pick it up........

Oh Hell!!! send the check.....
