Hi Guys,

Been talking to the Roush guys about a 402IR motor and also looking into an Aluminum small block either way I am going with the Webers/Weber look for my GT. The roush guys want a ton a dough for their motor $25+, I guess they have to pay for all that overhead somehow. The Roush piece is very complete for that number top of stacks to flywheel/clutch all ready to bolt up to the ZF with their warranty. My concerns lie with once you buy into their package you are constrained for all time with their design elements---- Cam, timing, F/A map, ECS settings etc.

The SPF people have made accomodation for the fuel injected set up ie. fuel return line, electrical hook up for the pump but, no hole in the headers for the O2 sensor......the installer would need to drill the hole and then weld on the bung.

I am doing my due diligence on the engine now and starting with what the theme/appearance will be and backing into the specifics. I am being careful to not build an over powered beast that will not be fun to drive in all situations.

More pics in my gallery today F & R suspension, engine bay and Front clam.
