Murray,
As it gets closer some one (maybe you) will get the ball rolling on where to meet for a caravan of sorts. Mel's is a good spot - in the past we have met at the place on the corner of Sunrise and Folsom Blvd.
There are folks from Sacramento, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, etc., so somewhere centrally located with easy access to hwy 49. There maybe some folks you prefer hitting 99 south and heading east down by Stockton... but not me.

Spoke to Allan and Crew down at Central Valley. They are bringing a group of cars too. Should be cool.

CENTRAL VALLEY / Discovery Bay Meetup Group:
8am meetup and departure from the large Valero Gas Station near Hwy 4 and Charter Way exit, Fresno Avenue. Call Allan DeClue at Oakley Auto Service during the week if you need more details. They are coming through Discovery Bay on their way.

If the Sac/ElDorado Hills group is heading down Hwy. 49, (and why wouldn't you?) Becca and I will hook up with you in Jackson at the second stop light where Hwy. 88 splits off to the left.
I just need an approximate time to meet.

When we get there...... how about that?
If we do leave at 8:15, I think you should start looking for us around 9am (and that is a guess).

Remember the CHP uses Radar extensively in the foothills, lets not unnecessarily contribute to there funding, as some have in the past..... .
The turnout looks to be very good so far, do we have parking and an ongoing headcount for the restaurant?

Yes, very large parking lot out back, fits up to 140 cars during the shows they host there. We are holding at 25 headcount for the restaurant breakfast. I have to call them again Thursday with the final number so they can plan to staff accordingly for outside dining.
