I don't cook on the weekends, but I do eat breakfast

Put me down and I may have a passenger.

<edit> Scratch me. I have been informed my granddaughter has a softball tournament

Here is an update for all of you that are thinking about food this morning, the menu for October 20th is a "breakfast buffet" featuring: scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, breakfast potatoes, french toast, orange juice, and coffee. Last years breakfast was great and I don't anticipate anything less.

The charge would be $12.50 per person, which would include tax... tips would be each persons responsibility. The one stipulation is that they would like to bill us as a group rather than separate checks... cash is the word of the day.

It's looking like a great turnout... the more the merrier!

Bob

Wait till a few more see what's on the menu. Big group, good food, good weather. What more could anyone ask for. Woohoo!

Bob, we are still adding a few more here and there so I keep adding to the total at the beginning of this thread. The airport visit is off. Its a breakfast-only meetup. D

Wish I could come...on call, so I have to stay in town.

I'll be at the Sac. International Auto Show from 1-4pm Saturday, if anybody happens to be attending. My car will be there for the whole show...guess they could only put up with so much of me.

Bob,
Yes, received your message. There are 4 others I added to the headcount who did not reply to this thread but let me know they were coming. Typically there are a few last minute unplanned no-shows, and a few last minute people who show up unannounced. Therefore, let's close it at 46 people, call it good, and let John know.

It seems reasonable with this many people being served at breakfast at C.O. to have a basic sign-in sheet at the beginning, and go back around and check of everyone that has paid for breakfast so we can make it easy on you and the staff there. If there is anything I can do to help, just say the word. Thanks Bob!

The weather in Ione this morning is great! I could see fog off to the west but here it was clear and sunny. Tomorrow is looking like a great day to drive the cobras.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone... don't forget to bring your appetite and cash!

See you all tomorrow.

Bob

Thanks Bob. I am real disappointed that i can't participate. I enjoy the drive but enjoy the comaradery more than anything. Breaking Bread and chewing the fat with guys that you like with mutual interests, it doesn't get any better. See you next time guys.

To all drive safe, watch for moisture on the roads.
