Probably not..... hell, I hope not!!!! Holy Moly, we're only a week away...... time to change the clutch hydraulic fluid. Hopefully I won't have the curse that plagued Maurice last year

Looks like it's going to be nice and toasty for our drive up. Weather forecast is mid 90's. Get that suntan lotion on......

Maurice, I assume you are referring to the clutch fluid.... it's done and completely functional :)

Danny, the first year of the Bash we had to contend with snow!!!! This will be a welcomed change :D

I can haul some of your oversized items to Reno........... chairs, coolers, etc.

My Cobra is already up in Reno at Steven’s shop where I will pick it up on Thursday.
I will be driving my Tahoe up to Reno Thursday morning, and coming back Sunday afternoon. I live in Roseville, about a mile off highway 80 up from the water park that you can see from the highway.
Anyone needing coolers, chairs, tools or whatever, hauled up (or back), you can drop it by my house and I will take it up to the Nugget, where we're staying, or Steven’s shop by Superformance (to be determined). I also have an 8x8 flatbed if the need for more or larger items arise. Your items can be picked up at my house anytime after the Bash. Pass the word on the other WSCB threads. I will post again tuesday

Well, I may be able to bring up the kid and myself for Saturday and see what we can see, before returning to Sac. Would love to hook up with some of you for pic, but know you will alll be busy with driving your cars. I still need to visit the Vendors and narrow down my choices and maybe I will be ready for the 2010 or 2012 Bash.

PatBuckley 05-11-2008 09:24 AM

90's!

Looks like I will be using the AC.

SF_SN888KE 05-11-2008 09:56 AM

A couple of us from the BACC will be stopping in Auburn for lunch (12-1PM?) at Ikeda's on Thursday if any NorCal cobras want to meet and drive the last leg with us.

azariah2000 05-13-2008 12:28 PM

Gina and I are leaving from Winters on Thursday and would love to hook up with any other Cobra's heading East. I'm in agreement that Hwy 50 is the better drive up to Reno.

I was looking at leaving the Winters area between 12-1 so as not to arrive at the Nugget prior to the 3PM Corral opening. Our schedule is flexible.

See you all at the BASH!

scootter 05-13-2008 04:13 PM

I know it might be a bit out of the way, but four of us will be leaving Livermore around 10:00am heading up 88 all the way to 395. Probably stop somewhere in Jackson for lunch.
No hurry to get there, and would much rather drive mountain roads then highway.

Scott

azariah2000 05-13-2008 04:45 PM

Scootter,

We are roughly 2 hours away from Jackson. Where were you thinking about lunch in Jackson, and maybe we could meet you there. I'll need to check with the Ms. tonight to confirm.

scootter 05-13-2008 04:52 PM

Its been a while since I ate there. Let me check with the others and get back to you.
I looks like it will take us about an 1 hour and 50 minutes or so to get there from Livermore.

We're leaving from Folsom on Thursday, a couple others were interested in meeting here or in El Dorado Hills, lunch in south shore would be cool, maybe we could also meet those coming over hwy 88 thru Jackson. Who wants to make a decision? ED

azariah2000 05-13-2008 10:22 PM

How about lunch at Mel & Faye's Drive Inn in Jackson?
Mel & Faye's Drive Inn (209) 223-0858
31 N State Highway 49-88, Jackson, CA 95642
Looks like it is right near the 49-88 cut-off.

We could meet up around noon and take off again some time around 1.

The weather looks to be a little hot in the Sacramento Valley this weekend Thur-Sun at +100, so don't forget to drink lots of water.

pooreds 05-13-2008 10:29 PM

I'm sticking to Hwy 50, sorry no trip over 88 for me. meet in south shore would be fine. ED

wanab5150 05-13-2008 10:54 PM

Ed ... car should be done tomorrow. Leaving at 9 on thursday to go up and detail the rig at Stevens place assuming its really finished. See ya at the corral? tom

pooreds 05-13-2008 10:59 PM

Tom, See ya at the corral, thanks for hauling my recliner, frig, generator and flat screen so I can relax at the corral. ED

NorCal Cobra 05-14-2008 08:40 AM

Ed,

I'm meeting another Cobra at Mel's in Folsom at 1:00PM tomorrow. From there, we talked about lunch in either Folsom, Placerville, or South Lake Tahoe.

We are going to take highway 50. I'm guessing w/ a lunch stop it should get us there around 4:00.

Anybody interested in joining us?

We can also meet in El Dorado Hills if that works better.

Mike
