G.R. - a large group of cobras would be a fine tribute to Andy-maybe Tyler or someone could drive Andy's roadster as the lead car-a few years ago a bunch of friends in Cali. did this exact thing-maybe 30 cars-with video that was presented to the family later as well as posted for friends to view and remember.

Default Andy Teal Memorial

Spoke with Tyler, Andy's son, this morning. He indicated that plans are in the works for a memorial service for Andy Teal. They will have private funeral, and he will let us know as soon as they settle the date for the memorial service. Might be mid November. As soon as we know, we will post something. He appreciates all the kind thoughts and words about his Dad. He is only beginning to realize how many lives Andy touched with his kindness and shared love of everything Cobra. On the Cobra drive in for the memorial service, it sounds like a touching rememberence. I will mention it to Tyler. We did this last year for a car club friend's funeral and the family really enjoyed it, and even video taped it for their memories.

After we lost Steve someone got some cling on stickers with Steves car # on it. I think it would be great to have the same for Andy. I am willing to help with the cost.

Fred-I met Andy and Jim (JWD is that Jim number 1 now??-geez I can't keep track) at a Shelton car show while I was still building my car-that was about or just before the time of Steve's passing I think-I never met Steve unfortunately-I had made comments to Andy later that I thought that was a nice memory to have the stickers on our roll bars-sorta like always having our friends along with us on our drives. Please pursue the sticker plan-I want one for my car.

Fred,

I had the ones made for Steve and I'd be more than happy to do the same for Andy. I'll get right on it and keep everyone posted when they are ready. I still have several of the Steve's left if anyone wants one.

Jim

I will take another one of Steve's, the cobra in Az needs one. I will also need 2 of Andy's.
Thank you for taking this on.

I "proofed" the cling on stickers today and sent them off to be printed. They turned out great and will be ready on Monday 11-8.

It's my pleasure. I picked them up yesterday. They're the same size & style as Steve's. The white background ones have the cling on the back for surface mounting and the clear ones have it on the front for mounting inside the windshield. I'll bring them to Andy's memorial for those that will be there. For those that can't make it, we'll figure something out.

Jim

Very cool Jim. Thanks for doing the stickers. Hopefully the weather will be good that day and we can all drive our Cobras. I know our brother would appreciate it.
