Congratulations on expecting a new baby and welcome to the club, lots of F5 guys around Puget Sound.
I second the recommendation to seriously investigate a Ford 385 series block mill build, it's very reliable, maintainable, and almost indstructable (yeah Jake). Even has it's own website: 460 Ford Forum
We'll all have PLENTY of recommendations (even without asking)
Rotor, you and I are practically neighbors, and I'd be happy to give you a demo.  There is NOTHING like the sound of a Ford Big Block!
