Trivia Question #
In 1964, What famous driver won the Los Angeles Times Grand Prix at Riverside ?
What was the first car to win back to back wins in this, the most prestigious and richest sports car race in the world?
Good Luck!

Since no has posted an answer yet, it was Parnelli Jones. His first sports car race and win. A King Cobra won giving SA its second consecutive win at LA Times GP.

This is turning out to be a pretty exciting game...
Two guys with the same book, each reading a page to each other. :-)
How 'bout some picture questions?

I'm waiting for the hard ones
So in the mean time I'm making sure the answer comes from the same source as the questions

Ok, my turn to throw a question out there, ready, here it comes....
Shelby entered CSX 2166 in it's first race at Sebring (leafspring, 427 configuration in the prototype class)
The question is, "how many rivets held the scoop on"?

Bill,
Perhaps you mean CSX21 96
The rivet count on that car is important because that is considered the prototype that all correctly mounted hood scoops should use going forward. Right?

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Picture question If you mean post a picture and see who can identify it someone else will have to do that I will give the point to the correct answer.
I was asked to ask a few easy questions.
Tonight's question:
What did the most expensive cobra ever sold, sell for?
Who bought the car?
Good Luck!

Well, you just asked the most difficult question so far. Are you speaking of a public auction or a private sale? The difference is in millions with the greater amount being in private sales. (More than one) If you're thinking of CSX3015 at $5.5M with fees to Ron Pratt at auction, fine for public auction.

What car is this?
Clues:
Raced since 1965, still vintage raced today, picture from early 80's, Kidney bean wheels.
A military connection.
