Roll bar help.....
Hey guys
I need some help understanding how the rear support bar of the roll bar work from an installation point of view. I am doing a custom 1 3/4" roll bar on my factory five and I put the 10 degree slant into it.
I need to know how I am going to get the rear leg in with that angle. I see the origionals used a outer slip tube. So does that mean the rear leg isn't actuall sitting on the frame but rather drops down to allow the roll bar to be installed, them it is slid up to the roll bar and held up in place with the bolt and not actualluy structurely attached to the frame? Seems in a rool over that bolt would shear and the roll bar would bend the distance until the back leg did come in contact with the frame.
Also, I need to know the rough angle of the rear leg kicks out from the roll bar.
Thanks
