Not that it s/b considered the definitive source, but my Haynes AC/Shelby COBRA Owners' Workshop Manual contains no photos of FE-engined Cobras with Weber carbs, nor is there ANY reference of Weber carbs being available other than on 260/289 cars.

It's a safe bet Ned Scudder could shed some light on this.
